Closing the loop between cows, crops and soil at Lower Blakemere Farm in Herefordshire. Our cattle provide manure to feed the microbes and organic matter in our arable fields and pasture, while our crops return the favour with straw for bedding and forage for winter feed – keeping nutrients cycling rather than leaking away.
