As we’ve shifted towards regenerative farming, our margins have been under pressure and the transition hasn’t been easy: turnover can dip, costs don’t disappear, and the bank still wants to see resilience. Diversifying isn’t a side project for us, it’s how we make the whole farm stack up. By re-using our buildings, kit and skills, Monty’s UK Mini Trucks business brings in, services and customises Japanese kei trucks right here on the farm, creating a practical, affordable alternative to Gators and big 4x4s – and helping our family farm stay financially strong while we rebuild soil, wildlife and long-term sustainability.
