At Lower Blakemere Farm in Herefordshire, it’s about building resilience to drought and flooding, boosting microbial and fungal life, cycling nutrients and organic matter, and improving crop and pasture health. We’re aiming to adopt the six regenerative principals: minimal soil disturbance, cover crops and rotations, organic amendments, livestock integration, carbon building and living roots — to grow better soil that supports grass, crops and climate resilience.
