Lower Blakemere Farm is a mixed family farm in Herefordshire where we grow crops and raise cattle.
Our farming focuses on regenerative principles including crop rotations, livestock integration and improving soil health.
Healthy soil grows healthier crops, supports wildlife and keeps the whole farm system working.
This wheat is simply one part of that story.
These grains were grown in our fields at Lower Blakemere Farm in Herefordshire.
It forms part of our crop rotation alongside grass seed crops, peas, oilseed rape, wheat, barley and cover crops, integrated with livestock grazing and wildlife habitats.
Growing crops this way helps improve soil structure, reduce artificial inputs and build long-term resilience in the land.
In simple terms — the healthier the soil becomes, the better the crops we can grow.
How Much Should You Buy?
Most customers buy 3–5 sacks at a time.
Grain stores well in a dry shed or feed bin, and buying several sacks reduces delivery costs and means you always have feed ready for your flock.
Our 15kg sacks are designed to be easy to lift, store and stack.
